Long time, no updates

I know there has been a long time since the last update and many of you out there has been asking for a production date. There has been some work done, although not as much as I wished due to troubles with the CNC fitting of the artwork. This seems to have been solved now and the work will now be picked up again at a much higher pace! I’ll try to keep up with posting here too. ;-)

Until then, here’s a picture of some of the work that has been done…

The Getaway: High Speed II playfield reproduction (update)

That third part was a real b**ch, but now it is done. Amazing how much longer it takes when the scan/convert is a bit messed up. But now straight on to the fourth part (of twelve)…

The Getaway: High Speed II playfield reproduction (update)

All parts of the playfield have now been scanned (total of over 1Gb data) and the first pieces are going through the painstaking conversion to separate the black outlines from the rest of the colours. Two of twelve scans almost done.

First Flash plastic delivered

Just for making sure everything is done according to CPR standards I’ve sent the first Flash plastic (a slingshot) to Kevin Wayte at Classic Playfield Reproductions for a general checkup. If this one’s OK then I should be able to send the rest of these plastics by the end of the week.

Stay tuned folks.

Getting closer

Nearly finished with the Flash plastics now. What’s left is looking over the crop lines and making the art bleed at the right places.

Ready for finishing touches (click for larger version):

The Getaway: High Speed II playfield reproduction

I’ve started scanning the playfield for Getaway and I’ll let INK use his more powerful computer when making all scanned parts come together in one extreme hi-res picture.

Repro plastics for Williams Barracora

As if I didn’t already have all too much work I’m also doing the Barracora repro plastic set.

Although this was the first project I started it’s unfortunately the least prioritized – for the moment.

Repro plastics for Hotdoggin’

Work in progress from Bally Hotdoggin’ (1980) plastic set. I’m about halfway through this set but can’t work full time on my free time on this due to more urgent projects. That’s too bad as this kind of graphics are quite easy compared to other stuff.
