Borås Pinball

As more than a few foreign guests of IFPA 8 will arrive a week early for the BPP, it would be nice to get together as much as possible for pinballin’ and chat during this time. With most people staying quite close to Borås and me having a lot of pinball machines – why not hold a small tournament? Said and done – welcome to the BPO Pre-IFPA 2001! This will be a stand-alone full WPPRs competition.

The competition will be held on Wednesday, May 25th. There will be a Main tournament, a Classics tournament, a Sprint tournament (on the old Atari racing arcade game), maybe a split tournament, various sideshows as Kill the Martians on AFM, Set the High Score and more. I’ll even try to put a small Quiz together!

The tournament takes place in Borås, located 60 km east of Gothenburg (35 km from Landvetter Airport, 40 km from Alingsås and 40 km from Vårgårda), at INK’s private pinball place. This is located at Göteborgsvägen 10. There will be about 30 working Classic pinball machines and 40 modern ones at the location. All games are set on Free Play except a few ones used for Set the High Score and other sideshows.

The fee for this event is: 150 SEK / $24 / 17 € (this includes all tournaments and Free Play on all other machines). There will be no Cash Prizes – only a trophy for the winner.
